We are a state Certified RAW MILK producer and maker of fine artisan raw milk cheeses. Milking our beautiful Brown Swiss cows in colorful Southern Utah, Finney Farm has a passion for what we do and we love to have all our family help us while we do it.
Our Dairy Farm
It all started with a family cow and a desire to make the best dairy products for our family. Now we want to share that goodness with yours. We at Finney Farm pride ourselves on fresh raw milk and raw milk products. As part of a growing family ourselves, we understand the need for proper nutrition and quality foods.
The Brown Swiss cow originally came from Switzerland and is genetically traced back further than any other cattle breed. They have some great genetic properties and a higher casein content with a smaller curd giving them the best-tasting milk. Brown Swiss cattle have a perfect and consistent fat to protein ratio. Because of this, we can make the best cheese. They are big, broad cows that have an average lactation period of 13 years. Right now at Finney Farms we are milking 52 cows and have 35 heifers. All of these cows are grass fed because we want to keep them healthy and producing the finest product for you! What you put in the cow is what comes out, so we only use the best!
Artisan Cheese is cheese made using traditional craftsmanship. This offers complex taste and variety in every block of cheese we offer to you. Using raw milk in our process all of our cheeses are aged and ripened perfectly to develop rich flavors we know you will love.
Meet Dana, our newest employee. Dana was born on December 27th and we are so excited to have her join Finney Farm. Don’t let her soft eyes fool you; she’s full of spunk and loves to run. Her father is Jeopardy, one our favorites. Her Mother is Daytona, who should probably get all the credit for our employee this month since she did all the work for the last nine months, but who can resist this little cutie.

It all started in 1986 when a young boy married a dairy girl right off the farm. We built a new little red barn, and from there, a legacy began. Together the two of us bought a few cows and started milking them. It wasn’t long before we had more milk than we needed. We started selling to friends and family.
Expanding an Idea!
In 2002 they became certified to sell Raw milk and family named the small business Finney Farm creating a small business that could sell a quality product to the public.
Our Swiss Cows
After going to the Big World Dairy Expo in Wisconsin in 2004, the couple decided they wanted to get some Brown Swiss cattle so they could have the best milk possible. This change took time. They drove to Idaho soon after and started with a modest herd of five Brown Swiss cows.
After seeing and tasting the difference, Finney Farm knew five was just not enough. They slowly increased the herd with the best quality stock.
The Future is Bright
By 2016 the herd had grown to about 50 cows! With that many cows giving us such rich milk it was only logical to share some more. In 2016 we built a cheese plant so we could start selling all across southern Utah.
All of this started with one family cow, a little red barn, and the desire to make the best dairy products for their family. Now Finney Farm wants to share the best of their farm with you!
The Future is Bright
In the fall of 2017, Finney farm was able to open a second store location in New Harmony Utah. Finney Farm is growing and will continue to provide quality RAW milk and cheese and other dairy products into the future. Now you can find our products in four locations
Unlike pasteurized milk, that loses beneficial bacteria, food enzymes, natural vitamins, and immunoglobulins during pasteurization, Finney Farm Raw milk contains all the healthy benefits your body needs.
